Duncan has a background in Landscape Architecture, Computer Science, Civil Engineering and Landscape Planning. His main research area is the development of digital tools for improved landscape planning processes. He is currently a PICS-funded postdoctoral fellow at UBC, where he is currently working with Nicole Miller and Ron Kellett on pattern-based approaches to urban and transportation modelling.
